The Friends of Hedberg Public Library are people just like you who appreciate the library and the many ways it serves our community.

Hedberg Public Library is pleased to announce award-winning Wisconsin author Maggie Ginsberg will serve as the keynote author at HPL Book Fest 2025 on Saturday, June 21.

The art exhibits for January contribute to the celebration of trains and include oil paintings and photos. The artists include a retired railroad operations worker and a lifelong train enthusiast.

One of my favorite moments from 2024 was challenging our Homeschool Idea Lab kids to complete the Pringles Ring Engineering Challenge. That’s right.

SENSEational Storytime Begins in January

Mariah Smitala, HPL’s Youth Services Librarian, began the process of adding a sensory-friendly storytime to the Hedberg Public Library calendar in 2019.

HPL is looking for exhibit artists for the 2025-2026 season. 

Hedberg Public Library offers 2D and 3D art exhibits throughout the building.

Hedberg Harmony: Holiday Edition

Stop by the library throughout December to enjoy local musicians as they perform holiday music in the Fireplace Room as part of our Hedberg Harmony program.

Find resources and community in your pursuit of your highest self with our Wellness Book Club! 

Did you know that your library offers curbside materials pickup? These turkeys did! Whether you are on-the-go or unable to enter the library (sorry, no turkeys allowed!), library staff can bring the books to you! 

November's art exhibits, which include oil pastels, oil paintings, and photography are a celebration of Native American Heritage Month and our connection to the natural world.
