Library of Things

What is it?

Our Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional items from our collection that you can enjoy on the go, like a telescope for stargazing, or an Amazon Firestick for catching your favorite shows.

How does it work?

Visit our Library of Things display near the DIY, Great Escapes, and Seed Library collections.

If you see an item you'd like to borrow, take the item's card to the Checkout Desk. Library staff will retrieve your item and check it out to you. Age restrictions may apply.

If you see a QR code, the item has already been checked out and is not currently available. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera to place a hold on the item or visit the Checkout Desk and ask staff to help you place a hold.
