Peeps-o-Rama

Back by PEEPular Demand! Join your library Peeps® and create a diorama using Peeps® mallow treats! You can also vote for your favorites in our “Peeples Choice Awards”, but remember, Peeps-o-rama is primarily a light-hearted opportunity for fun and creativity. No need for PEEPfection here. Use your imagination, skills, and at least one Peeps® mallow to create a unique take on a book, movie, pop culture, or ANYTHING that inspires you (and is begging to be created with Peeps® mallows).

Favorites (as picked by the PEEPLE) in each category will receive a Peeps® themed award (more than one entry is welcome).

• Adults -  18 & up
• Teens - 13-18
• Kids - 5-12
• Lil' Peeps - under age 5
• Mixed Age Group - any number of Peeps of various ages working together

Guidelines:

1. All entries must include at least one Peeps® mallow of any variety (the more the better!).

2. All entries must fit inside a standard shoe or boot box (14” x 10” x 5”).

3. All entries must have the title affixed.

4. Creator name must not be visible but should be affixed somewhere on the box.

5. All entries must be turned in at the library between April 9th to 12th at the Children's Desk.

Peeples Choice Voting between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 12th.  Everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to vote (and oooooOOO and awwwww over the dioramas)

Peeples Choice winning dioramas will be displayed until April 21st

FAQ:

QUESTION: May adults help children construct their dioramas? ANSWER: We love that Peeps help each other; if you (the adult) feel you have done MORE THAN 50% of the actual crafting, maybe put that one in the Mixed Age category and have your child build another one using their new Peeps building skills. (Remember, the no need for PEEPfection part?)

QUESTION: May I use a non-shoe/boot box? ANSWER: Yes, as long as it's still about the same size (and not larger) than a shoe/boot box (14” x 10” x 5”).

QUESTION: What do the winning Peeps builders receive? ANSWER: A really nifty trophy crafted by your library Peeps, but most importantly a sense of accomplishment and bragging rights until next year!
