Join Emily Balsley for a fun, interactive art workshop! After chatting about her life as a professional artist, and sharing some of the sketchbooks and children’s books that she has illustrated, she will lead drawing activities inspired by her art practice.
Emily Balsley is an illustrator, muralist, and maker from Madison, Wisconsin. From big, bold walls, to quirky, colorful picture books, puzzles and games, Emily’s stylized approach and character-driven art just ooze happy. She created the Children's Room Picture Book Garden mural (January 2024).
