"Select well. Prepare well. And then go forth and just tell." -Augusta Baker, professional storyteller
A gifted storyteller transports listeners into new worlds, keeps them at the edge of their seats, and often reveals universal truths through their stories. Our storytelling troupe is currently looking for new tellers. Join us at our storytelling meet-ups this Fall to learn the skills needed to captivate an audience. We'll play games, learn about the craft of storytelling, and have opportunities to learn and tell stories. Some tellers may be invited to tell stories at our campfire Ghost Stories program in October, or at other storytelling events.
No performance experience is required - just a willingness to have fun and learn! This program is for those currently in grades 6 to 12.
Storytelling Club will also meet on October 21 and November 25 from 4-5 PM.
A minimum of six registrants is required for Storytelling Club to be held. All registrants will be notified if minimum participation isn't met.
