Pick up the third Adventure Begins At Your Library Summer Library Challenge button or sticker starting Monday, July 8. Visit the library's Summer Desk, HPL Express at Uptown Janesville, or the HPL Bookmobile.
As of July 7, 1,099 participants have registered for the HPL 2024 Summer Library Challenge, reading 366,770 minutes and earning 5,998 badges!
A few fun activities shared by participants include:
• Went to the fair, visited farm animals & saw a dog show.
• Visited a park near Slades Corners, Wisconsin with my book club! We’re reading Woman in the Window and meet there every Tuesday.
• Rode our bikes all the way to Culver's with no training wheels!
• Visited “Adventureland” at Disney World. We talked about the different adventure stories that the rides/attractions were based on.
• Painted rocks to put in the library's kindness rock garden.
• Helped clean up Paw Print Park after the tornado.
