There is still time to join the Hedberg Public Library 2024 Summer Library Challenge!
Participants can log reading minutes and activities to earn badges and earn prizes for two more weeks! Visit the Summer Library Challenge page for information on how to register and use Beanstack. If you are using the paper tracker to keep track of your minutes and activities at home, be sure to log them in Beanstack by Friday, August 2 so that your reading and activities help us reach our goal of 700,000 reading minutes! Check out the latest totals here. We are more than halfway--can you help us reach the end?!
This week we have our fourth and final button and sticker of summer available! Stop by the library on Main Street, visit HPL Express at Uptown Janesville, or find the HPL Bookmobile out and about town to pick up your next button or sticker.
Our annual prize books will be available beginning Thursday, August 1. Everyone who registered for the HPL 2024 Summer Library Challenge can stop by the library to choose a prize book that they get to keep! The books will be available until Friday, August 16. If you need assistance finding a book that is right for you, please ask a librarian!
It is hard to believe that the 2024 Summer Library Challenge will soon come to an end! The last day to log minutes and activities is Friday, August 2. To celebrate all of the reading and activities that you logged over summer, we are having a party! On Monday, August 5, anyone who registered in the Challenge is invited to join us in the Program Room from 4-6 p.m. for activities and snacks to celebrate. This party is just like our Challenge and open to all ages!
Friday, August 16 is the last day to pick up your prize book, lanyard, and any buttons or stickers you still need in your "Adventure" collection! Be sure to visit us and pick up these fun pieces!
