A Night at the Library: Tickets Now Available!

Tickets are now available for Hedberg Public Library’s 15th annual mingle murder mystery, A Night at the Library: Creatures Ball. Hosted by the Hedberg Public Library Foundation, the literary fundraiser will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 7 p.m.

Guests are invited to enjoy an elegant evening of delicious food, a wine and beer cash bar, live performances, and monstrous merriment while they dance for their lives amongst the creatures of the night. The evening's highlight will be the Danse Macabre Competition, where dastardly dancers will be vying for the coveted Centennium Cup. It's a prize worth dancing - and killing - for. It will be the guests’ job to investigate the crime. There are many suspects, but who is the guilty ghoul?

Costumes are encouraged, but not required, and guests are welcome to dress in spooky formalwear as any creature they’d like. Vampires, werewolves, mermaids, fairies, witches, zombies, monsters, ghosts - all creatures of the underworld are welcome. Read about the cast of characters at HedbergPublicLibrary.org/murder.

Tickets are $40 per person (adults 18+ only) and can be purchased online (credit/debit) or at the Information Desk at the library (cash/check). All proceeds benefit library programs and services.

Thank you to this year’s sponsors: Hoffman House Catering, Panda Garden, R.K. Smith Realty, ForZack Trucking, Nowlan Law, Package Pro, First National Bank & Trust Company, Blackhawk Community Credit Union, Hagen CPA, Christian Ray/KC Group, and Festival Foods.
