This summer, take time to explore mental health resources at the Hedberg Public Library!
Hedberg Public Library is a host site for Rock County Public Health this summer. Hosting drop-in office hours to learn about mental health resources, practices, and more, teens and adults can stop by during our "Mindful Monday" events from 12:00 - 3:00 pm. Rock County Public Health representatives are featuring their new CredibleMind resource. The website/app features a Mental Health check in quiz, provides free practices and resources to improve your mental health, and helps connects users with resources from mental health professionals in the area.
Find more information on your own by browsing the Mental Health Matters display through the month of July! We have curated a variety of collection items, from books to music and meditation CDs, and even items from our Library of Things collection that can be used to learn about, improve, or explore mental wellness.
The Rock County Public Health representatives are also hosting a Mental Wellness Summer Challenge! Participants can sign up and participate for free! While practices can be adapted for all ages, most practices are geared for teens and adults. Each week there will be new activities that correlate to improving one's mental health. Find a flyer with the sign up QR code on the Mental Health Matters display or drop in to Mindful Monday office hours to learn more!
