Join library staff at Janesville Community Center's Freedom Garden this summer! Learn about gardening, connect with resources, visit the bookmobile, and help make a difference in the community.
On Monday afternoons, join Children's Room staff at the Janesville Community Center's Freedom Garden for Hedberg Hangout. We'll provide a nature activity and outdoor games and activities. The program is geared to kids ages 5-11, but the entire family is welcome.
Keep an eye out for other programs and activities held at the Freedom Garden to learn about and grow easily recognizable produce, support local food access efforts, or enjoy the space for dedicated reading, play, and quiet time. Find out about these opportunities here.
Hedberg Public Library is working with the Freedom Garden in partnership with the Janesville Community Center as part of the Healthy at Hedberg initiative.
