Jamie A. Swenson

This workshop will address the importance of establishing point of view. It will include writing prompts, group discussion, and examples from published books. Be sure to bring your POV questions!

Jamie A. Swenson, is an award-winning Wisconsin author who earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University in 2009. When not writing, you can find her working at the Hedberg Public Library where she has shared her love of reading (and writing) with the library community for over twenty-four years. A past Regional Advisor for the Society of Children's Writers and Illustrators, Jamie loves chatting about writing craft, critiquing, and of course, reading! She has taught writing to (and for) adults, teens, and kids at many libraries, schools, online through the Writing Barn, and at various conferences.
