Celebrate National Library Week by taking part in the  Peeps®-O-Rama contest!  You can win the respect of your library peeps and possibly earn a Peeple's Choice Award or a Judges' Choice Ribbon by creating your own unique book-themed Peeps® diorama.
Peeps®-O-Rama Rules:
Dioramas must be book-themed.Dioramas must contain at least ONE Peeps®(of any variety).Diorama scenes must use one standard-sized shoebox (or similarly sized box).Book title or diorama title must be clearly displayed on the front.One entry per person/group.Creators must complete a paper entry form when turning in a diorama.Dioramas must be dropped off at the Program Room between 1 p.m. Friday, April 8th and 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9th.The public may view and vote for their favorite Peeps® dioramas between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 9th.  Winning dioramas will be revealed at 3:30 p.m.  (Creators need not be present to win.)
Peeps® dioramas may be reclaimed by their creators from 4-5  p.m. on Saturday, April 9th or between 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Monday after 11th.  After this time we will dispose of unclaimed dioramas.



 
Escape Room: A Spy Among Us

You have 25 minutes to stop a double agent from using a digital attack to destroy access to HPL's valuable online resources. Are you ready? Fun for all ages, though younger players may need some help from a grown-up.
Starting March 1st, teams may reserve an escape room timeslot* in advance by stopping in at the library or by calling 608-758-6600. Teams of 5-8 can secure their own adventure, while smaller groups may be paired with others. Walk-ins welcome.* All timeslots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
