It Came from a Book
Teen Art Contest

Read any book and create a piece of art
inspired by the story!

Your artwork can be any type– photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, manga– we want to see it all!

Submit a digital photograph of your work to: trwartcontest2012@gmail.com
by 11:59 PM CST September 30th, 2012.

Be sure to include the following information with your entry
to ensure eligibility:

• Subject heading should read TRW Art Contest
• Include your full name, your library (school or public), and the title and author of the book that inspired your art.
• Include the statement “I affirm that this is an original piece of artwork.”

During Teen Read Week, the Library as Incubator Project will host a digital art gallery of all entries to the It Came From a Book! TRW Art Contest, and collect votes on the best library-incubated artwork.

The winner will be announced on the site the following week!

Turn in your submitted artwork and entry form (below) to the
Children’s Desk by 4:45 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012.

Local artwork will be on display in Teen Central during
Teen Read Week from October 14-20.

Representatives of Arby’s of Janesville, WI will judge entries and
chose a local winner. The local winner will be announced in the
library and on Facebook at Teen Central at Hedberg Public Library
the following week.

The winning entry will be displayed at Arby’s of Janesville for two weeks following the announcement.

•Each entrant will receive a coupon from Arby’s of Janesville, WI •
• Winner will receive a $50 Target Giftcard (courtesy of Arby’s of Janesville, WI) •
