Holds may be placed on titles listed in the library's computer catalog that are checked out and not currently available. You may place your own holds at any public terminal or on the library's Web site. Service Desk staff will assist if needed.
Notification of holds ready for pickup is made by the Automated Account Information and Renewal System.
To preserve patron confidentiality, the phone call does not list the particular item on hold. You may choose e-mail notification instead. Sign up at Checkout. A notice is mailed to patrons who cannot be reached by phone or e-mail.
Holds are held at Checkout for ten days. You may cancel holds or delay notification by making them inactive on any library catalog computer or on the library's website.
