Saturday Story Shorts for children ages 2-5
A fun-filled half-hour program including a story or two, a song or movement activity, and an easy craft. This program is geared for children ages 2-5, but families are welcome to come and enjoy the program together. No registration necessary.
Book Birthday: Boom! Boom! Boom!
Celebrate the launch of Boom! Boom! Boom! with author and HPL staffer Jamie Swenson. Storytime, Q&A, crafts, treats – with book sale and signing to follow! For all ages. No registration necessary.
Registration begins for the Dig into Reading summer reading programs for kids age 3 and under and kids age 4 through grade 5. Register children for these free programs at the Children’s Desk or online at the library’s website www.hedbergpubliclibrary.org starting Monday, June 3.

KidSpace Newsletter for kids having completed grades 3-5
Join us in the newsroom (Woodruff Training Lab) to report on all the fun summer activities at HPL! Write and publish your very own articles in our bi-weekly KidSpace Newsletter. KidSpace Newsletter will meet on June 19, July 3, July 17 and July 31. Space is limited and registration is required. Registration begins Monday, June 3. Call 758-6585 or visit the Children’s Desk.
