Music and Movement for kids ages 2-5
Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m.
January 5 – February 23*

Join us for a 45-minute interactive program aimed at increasing vocabulary, fine and gross motor skills, social skills and  self-confidence through music-based activities. Come play with the parachute, beanbags, rhythm instruments and more while building early literacy skills and making new friends.

*No program February 16

Learning Through Play  for kids ages 1-5
Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Sundays from 1-4 p.m.
January 23 & 24, February 13 & 14, March 12 & 13
Drop in and join your child as he/she explores, discovers and learns through play.  Play is an avenue through which children can express their emotions, build relationships with others and master difficult experiences. Play stations and activities are easy to duplicate at home. An adult caregiver must accompany children. No registration necessary. Families welcome.

MakerSpace Mondays - for kids in grades K-5
Mondays at 3:45 p.m.
January 4-February 22
March 14 – May 2

Become a MAKER! Tinker, create, invent, build and explore.

Because this is a special program for elementary school children,
younger siblings are not invited.

Knifty Knitters - for kids in grades 3-12
Wednesdays from 3:45 – 4:45 p.m.
January 6-February 24
March 16 – May 4

Yarn and needles provided – or bring your own supplies. Meets in Children’s Room.

Knifty Knitters Knit-Along

Grown-up knitters are invited to join our Knifty Knitters group on a few select Wednedays for a cross-generational knit-athon under the skylight!

* Adults must bring their own knitting supplies.

Tail Waggin’ Tutors - for kids in grades 1-5
Thursdays from 6:30-8 p.m.

Sign up for 15 minutes of reading time with Maggie, the lovable Lhasa Apso
from Tail Waggin’ Tutors of Therapy Dogs International. Registration is required.

Join us for a celebration of All Things Seuss as we honor Dr. Seuss’ birthday with reading, crafts, and Seuss-iness!  For Whos of all sizes and shapes (wear your Who-finery).  Tall Whos must accompany small Whos.

Block Party
Tuesday, March 22 from 12-4 p.m.
Design and build structures with a variety of blocks.  Blocks will be available for kids from toddlers to teens.  Adults must be accompanied by a child.

Build STEAM with Dia! Celebrate this special day with fun-filled activities, stories, food and (of course) books!

SLC Kickoff
