The Janesville Room is a public resource for people interested in the history of the city of Janesville and Rock County. Its main purpose is to document Janesville and Rock County history with selected materials. It is located in the Information Services Department past the Internet computers and may be accessed during all library hours. For assistance contact Information Services. It's no secret that many national news correspondents were drawn to Janesville during the 2012 Presidential race. But one reporter was so impressed with the resources and staff at our library that he decided to run a story about it!
