Who can use ILL?
Anyone with a valid HPL library card. If you have $15.00 or more in fines on your card, your request won't be processed until fines are below $15.00
How long does it take?
Allow 2-4 weeks to receive your item(s). If you need it right away, we may be able to refer you to a nearby library, where you may be able to check it out directly.
How will I be notified and how much does it cost?
You will be notified by phone or e-mail when the item is available. There is a 35-cent charge per item, payable at Checkout when you pick it up. Photocopies of information will be mailed to you unless postage exceeds minimum first class rate.
Can I renew an ILL item?
Sometimes, yes! Call the Reference Desk at 608-758-6581. Our ILL staff must contact the lending library for permission to renew the item.
